Territory Sales Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Achieve Brand/SKU sales targets monthly.
- Maintain a continuously updated sales dashboard by town/territory.
- Ensure execution of all Trade Promotions as per the Agreed Mechanics across territories.
- Ensure availability and visibility standards through DSRs.
- Ensure formation of PJPs & use Tools such as Google Maps to increase system efficiency.
- Discourage Easy Selling by ensuring DSRs serve each and every scheduled outlet as per agreed PJP.
- Conduct Morning & Sunset Sessions with DSRs and monitor performance of territories on daily basis.
- Keep regular track of Field KPIs (Penetration & Bill/Outlet Productivity)
- Ensure execution of all Trade Promotions as per the Agreed Mechanics across territories.
- Ensure that all Trade Offers and Wholesale Discounts are passed on to Customers.
- Minimize Damages by ensuring that Distributors follow proper Warehouse Standards & use FIFO.
- Manage & Motivate Distributors for Mutual Business Growth
- Competitors’ monitoring and feedback (trade offers, promotions, launch/re-launch)
- Support ASM in miscellaneous tasks & projects assigned to Area.
- Conduct field coaching of DSRs during market visits.
- Coordinate with Distributors to appoint Sales Team and mechanical resource as required.
- Ensure all financial claims submitted are timely, correct, and authentic.
- Ensure Secondary Sales data reported via CCMS is timely and accurate.
- Review hygiene of shop data on yearly basis with the support of Sales and MIS Teams
- Ensure compliance against Company SOPs across the assigned region.
- Ensure Distributors’ investment as per business need and plan investment enhancement.
- Analyze and explore opportunities for Business Growth & Optimization
- Provide feedback to AM for Optimizing Trade Activities as per Trade Inputs.
Education
BBA / Bachelor’s degree from any reputable university.
Experience
1-3 years of relevant experience from FMCG industry.
