Area Sales Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure Achievement of Area Volume Targets (Primary and Secondary) on Monthly basis
- Conduct Morning & Sunset Sessions with DSRs and monitor performance of territories on daily basis.
- Keep regular track of Field KPIs (Penetration & Bill/Outlet Productivity)
- Ensure usage of Tools such as Google Maps by Field Officers to increase system efficiency.
- Ensure execution of all Trade Promotions as per the Agreed Mechanics across territories.
- Ensure that all Trade Offers and Wholesale Discounts are passed on to Customers.
- Minimize Damages by ensuring that Distributors follow proper Warehouse Standards & use FIFO.
- Ensure Availability and Visibility through Field Officers & DSRs as Per Agreed Standards
- Manage & Motivate Distributors for Mutual Business Growth
- Provide market intelligence to Head Office on a regular basis.
- Support RSM in miscellaneous tasks & projects assigned to region.
- Demonstrate conflict management skills by resolving issues of field team and ensuring discipline and proper conduct of Field Staff in the assigned Area.
- Ensure all financial claims submitted are timely, correct and authentic and attest all claims of monthly allowances of field officers.
- Ensure Secondary Sales data reported via CCMS is timely and accurate.
Education
MBA / Master’s degree from a reputable university.
Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience from FMCG industry.
