Project Planning & Execution
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all civil engineering and infrastructure projects within the factory.
- Prepare project scopes, BOQs, cost estimates, schedules, and technical specifications.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within approved budgets and timelines.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
Design & Engineering
- Develop and review civil engineering designs, layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Maintain and update factory master plans, layouts, and utility drawings.
- Provide technical recommendations regarding construction methodologies and material selection.
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Evaluate contractor quotations and their justified assessment as per the BOQs.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and contractual compliance.
- Verify contractor bills and certify completed work against project milestones.
Cost Control & Budgeting
- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor project expenditures and recommend cost optimization measures.
- Ensure efficient utilization of materials, manpower, and resources.
Regulatory Compliance
- Coordinate with external authorities including SBCA, SITE, SEPA, utility companies, and other regulatory bodies for approvals and permits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and legal requirements.
Facility Maintenance & Improvement
- Support factory expansion, renovation, and infrastructure improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities for facility enhancement and recommend improvement initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project records, drawings, contracts, and completion reports.
- Prepare and present progress reports of the projects and present to management.
Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure compliance with CBL HSE standards and safe work practices.
- Conduct risk assessments prior to project execution.
- Promote contractor safety awareness and adherence to plant safety procedures.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (PEC Registered Preferred)
Experience
5-10 years of experience in civil engineering, project execution, construction management, or large-scale industry.
